Since joining WashU, Jenisha McDonald has enjoyed playing a key role in shaping the College Prep Program (CPP). As the Program Manager of Communication and Training under the Undergraduate Admissions & Aid office, she leads WashU students in their mission to support high school scholars across the St. Louis metropolitan area. She manages WashU undergraduate and graduate students who serve as program assistants and pre-college year mentors, to serve the program’s scholars.
McDonald also oversees all CPP communications, ensuring effective engagement with program assistants & fellows, students, parents/guardians and the CPP alumni network. McDonald’s work contributes to the WashU CPP’s holistic approach, ensuring that students are well-prepared for life after high school.

Beyond her role at WashU, McDonald enjoys spending time with her family and exploring St. Louis’s vibrant food scene. She and her sister are on a mission to try as many locally owned restaurants as possible.
